Applications


The RdF 29230 RTD temperature sensor series offers a small rugged design that allows the sensor to conform on curved surfaces for an accurate response in milliseconds (<0.3s on a metal surface).

This RTD platinum sensor is welded within a Kaptonยฎ / Teflonยฎ lamination that completely encapsulates the assembly and lead entrance which provides moisture resistance for condensing environments or shallow immersion. This allows outstanding durability and flexibility for use. The 29230 series has an operating temperature range from -200ยฐC up to +260ยฐC and has long term stability exceeding ยฑ0.05ยฐC per 5 years.

Available with sensing element resistances of 100โ„ฆ and 1000โ„ฆ at 0ยฐC with an IEC 751 Class B accuracy.

The leads of the sensor are comprised of 28 AWG nickel-coated, stranded copper PFA Teflonยฎ insulated parallel conductors, with a standard length of 12 inches. These can be customised should you require.
