The ASR002-10E smart TMR angle sensor from NVE is designed to provide a precise digital angle measurements over a wide range of speeds utilising the low power Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensing elements combined with sophisticated digital signal processing. This sensor features a robust operating range of 60 Oe to 200 Oe and sensitivity of 3 to 4.2mV/V-Oe. The ASR002-10E is able to measure rotational speeds of up to 375,000rpm and is compatible with 3V and 5V four-wire SPI interfaces to provide angle data and allow setting device parameters. This sensors comes in ultraminiature TDFN6 package (only 2.5×2.5×0.8mm) and is fully factory calibrated.

ASR002 sensors use unique TMR sensor elements that are inherently high speed and low noise. The digital core calculates the angle from sensor element Sine and Cosine vectors, and the raw sensor data are available from separate memory locations. The sensor output utilises a 12-bit ADC with the extra bits ensuring precision and computational accuracy. Digital filter is available for ultralow noise in high-frequency operations (this option is turned-off as default).
