The NVE ADT002-10E rotation sensors are ultralow power, digital-output magnetic rotation sensors. Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology allows small size and extremely low power of 1.8µA (typ.) at 2.4V, making the sensors ideal for battery operation. The ADT002-10E sensor has two digital, binary outputs which are 90° out of phase to provide directional information. This sensor also operates with a magnetic field as little as 30Oe with an additional output which indicates a fault if the magnetic field is too high for accurate measurements.
- Rotation sensors using Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology
- Wide air gap tolerance
- Extremely low power of 1.8µA(typ.) at 2.4V
- Precision Quadrant outputs
- Magnetic field range of 30Oe to 200Oe
- Integrated fault detection with an output threshold of 300Oe
- Angular hysteresis range of 3° to 6° (4° typ.)
- Temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- Frequency response of 2kHz
- Ultraminiature TDFN6 package
The ADT002 is optimised for absolute positioning and has low hysteresis to provide accurate, absolute rotational quadrant information and is considered suitable for the following applications
- Water Meters
- Rotational speed sensors
- Rotational position sensors
