HPS Series Description

The HPS High Power Precision 4-terminal shunt resistor series by RARA stands out as a reliable solution for engineers seeking precision in high-power applications. Engineered with a 4-terminal design, it operates within a temperature range of -55°C up to 100°C. This series offers a substantial power rating of up to 250W, achievable on a suitable heat sink, with a maximum current limit of 387A at a resistance value of 1mΩ.

Available resistance values range from 0.001Ω to 0.1Ω, providing flexibility for various applications. Tolerance options are as low as ±0.05%, ensuring accuracy, and the maximum Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) is ±5 ppm/°C. Notably, the HPS series exhibits exceptional short-term stability (≤±0.02%) at maximum current load for 1 hour and a long-term stability of ≤±0.2% after 1,000 hours.
