Resistance Alloys

Since Isabellenhütte invented Manganin® resistance alloy in 1889, the company name has been synonymous to quality and top-of-the-range precision alloys on the market. Over the years they were able to make and perfect other resistance alloys such as Zeranin®, Isaohm® and Noventin®. Their common denominator is an excellent long term stability, achieved by good corrosion resistance and permanent microstructure of homogeneous mixed crystals. Closely toleranced conductivity, low thermal stress and very low temperature coefficient mean these products are not just resistance alloys – they are precision resistance alloys.
