Introducing the Isabellenhütte CMx Series: High-Precision AEC-Q200 Qualified Current Sensing Resistors

Rhopoint Components is pleased to offer the CMx series of surface-mount current sensing resistors from Isabellenhütte. These high-precision resistors are designed for demanding applications, including automotive, industrial, and power electronics. As AEC-Q200 qualified components, they meet stringent automotive industry standards, making them ideal for battery management systems (BMS), motor control units (MCU), and power distribution applications.

Key Differences Between the CMx Series

The CMx family includes three distinct series, each tailored to specific performance needs:

CMK Series – Offers resistance values ranging from 8 mΩ to 100 mΩ with a power rating of 1.25W at 70°C. Designed for applications requiring high pulse power and good long-term stability.
CMP Series – Provides resistance values between 10 mΩ and 500 mΩ with a power rating of 2W at 70°C. Suitable for applications that demand high precision and reliability.
CMS Series – Features resistance values from 10 mΩ to 500 mΩ with a power rating of 2.5W at 70°C. Ideal for applications requiring high current sensing and low inductance.
